Not to scare you off of Panama, but you've got to see this:
The good news is that he showed up (dead) on our pool deck after a big rain. I monitored him from the kitchen window all morning to make sure he wasn't moving, because there's no way I was going to get close enough to take his picture until I was 100% sure he was dead. He's the only one of his kind I've ever seen around here, but he serves as a good reminder to keep the screen door shut.
Where are the geckos when you need them? I saw them gang up on a cockroach once, so I think they could handle this.
